Remove My Computer from the Desktop and Start Menu (Windows 2000/Me/XP)

This restriction removes My Computer from the desktop and Start menu.
Open your registry and find the key below.

Create a new DWORD value, or modify the existing value called ‘{20D04FE0-3AEA-1069-A2D8-08002B30309D}’ using the settings below.

Exit your registry, you may need to restart or log out of Windows for the change to take effect.

NonEnum]
System Key: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\
NonEnum]
Name: {20D04FE0-3AEA-1069-A2D8-08002B30309D}
Type: REG_DWORD (DWORD Value)
Value: (0 = show, 1 = remove)
